Spiritual work is a form of people-powered activism, which seeks to remember and draw on the power of our collective histories and stories to rebuild our communities and relate to each other with inclusivity, empathy, love and solidarity. It brings situational awareness and disruption to intersecting systems of oppression and liberation. It does this through creating safe and heartfelt spaces for us to think, feel and share, and explore themes like joy, interconnectedness and our relationship to the planet and spirit. With spiritual work, we move past a solely material concept of change and extend our vision of collective liberation. It allows us to seek the truth of who we are and how we can heal together in our increasingly interconnected and precarious world.
